Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of current ratio (CR), debt to equiy ratio (DER), and return on equity (ROE) on dividend payout ratio (DPR) in The Consumer Goods Industy Sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2012-2017. The sample selection in this study using purposive sampling method and got 13 companies that match the criteria. The research data is obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used in this research is panel data regression analysis and it is found that the more appropriate model used is fixed effect. From result of research got value of adjusted R-Square equal to 62,64%. It indicated that return on equity has a negative and significant effect on dividend payout ratio with regression coefficient equal to -1,070932. However, the result of current ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on the dividend payout ratio with regression coefficient of -2,462612 and debt to equity ratio has a positive and insignificant effect on the dividend payout ratio with regression coefficient of 0,012540. Keywords: Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, Return On Equity, Dividend Payout Ratio, Consumer Goods Industry Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Return on Equity (ROE) terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) pada Sektor Industri Barang Konsumsi Yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2012-2017. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan didapatkan 13 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi data panel dan didapatkan bahwa model yang lebih tepat digunakan adalah fixed effect. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai adjusted Rsquare sebesar 62,64%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa return on equity berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio dengan koefisien regresi sebesar -1,070932. Namun, hasil dari current ratio berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio dengan koefisien regresi sebesar -2,462612 dan debt to equity ratio berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,012540.
