Abstract
This research aims to test and analyze the effect of Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm size (Size) on firm value as proxied by Price. to Book Value (PBV). This reseach used panel data from 17 food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2015 to 2019 and analyzed using the panel data regression method. The empirical findings show that TATO, CR, and Size have a negative effect on PBV, while ROE and DER have a positive effect on PBV. The results of this research imply that the increase in firm value can be done with debt and profit and, meanwhile, assets must be used more efficiently and current liabilities are reduced. Keywords: firm value, price to book value, fixed effect model, food and beverage company. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh dari Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan ukuran perusahaan (Size) terhadap nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan Price to Book Value (PBV). Penelitian menggunakan data panel 17 perusahaan perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dari tahun 2015 sampai 2019 dan dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi data panel. Temuan empiris menunjukkan TATO, CR, dan Size berpengaruh negatif terhadap PBV, sedangkan ROE dan DER berpengaruh positif terhadap PBV. Hasil penelitian memberikan implikasi bahwa peningkatan nilai perusahaan dapat dilakukan dengan utang dan laba dan, sementara untuk aset harus digunakan lebih efisien dan kewajiban lancar dikurangi.
