Abstract

The amount of costs incurred due to ineffective processes that reduce the company's profitability, so effective and efficient processes are one of the goals that must be achieved in every production process to enhance the competitiveness of the company. Lean's approach allows for the elimination of activities during the production process that do not add value to customers, known as 7 junk or seven types of waste, thus increasing productivity that will ultimately increase the company's profitability. Using the SEM-PLS structural model can analyze whether there is a significant relationship between the application of slender methods to company performance. The results of the SEM PLS analysis in this study show that 2 factors of 7 waste most influence the productivity of the company and can provide the priority improvement and through kaizen process, fishbone and NGT analys all the improvement processes give the significant results for the company to increase productivity and create effective and efficient processes so that the profitability of the company will increase. Sejumlah biaya-biaya timbul akibat proses yang tidak efektif sehingga dapat mengurangi profitabilitas perusahaan, untuk itu proses yang efektif dan efisien adalah salah satu sasaran yang ingin dicapai pada setiap proses produksi dalam meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan. Pendekatan Lean memungkinkan dalam mengeliminasi aktivitas-aktivitas saat proses produksi yang tidak bernilai tambah bagi pelanggan, yang dikenal dengan istilah 7 waste atau tujuh jenis pemborosan sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan model struktural SEM-PLS dapat menganalisa apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan pada penerapan metode lean terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Hasil analisa dari SEM PLS dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan 2 faktor dari 7 pemborosan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas perusahaan dan dapat memberikan prioritas-prioritas perbaikan yang harus dilakukan perusahaan dan melalui kaizen proses, fishbone dan analisa NGT, perbaikan-perbaikan tersebut mendapatkan hasil yang signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan produktivitas dan membuat sebuah proses yang efektif dan efisien sehingga profitabilitas perusahaan dapat meningkat.
