Abstract

The advancement of information technology and communication in the new media becomes of the various effects of and phenomena .New media in the progression of the technology help and it easy for users in various duties it works , now not only function as a threat to the users will get the information but fellow can share on a variety of through the medium of current social .Social media certainly has various benefits for the people of especially from non-indigenous students jakarta could be positive or negative , all depends on what they use it .The presence of the figure of beauty vlogger with different characteristics of led to various comments and regarded as the phenomenon caused by new media . Research methods that were used in this research is a method of phenomenology , with his subjects study of a student who is also was a beauty vlogger .The technique of the data collection was done by interviewing fifth speakers this research . Based on the research done paper work showing that the phenomenon of beauty vlogger among the students jakarta cannot be separated from the effect of new media .Controversy that were brought about from a beauty vlogger men and beauty vlogger woman those who pre sent themselves the way a man might , for some of us jakarta student brought banners says that it is melangggar the norms and normal culture that which is embraced by this country but tell that to some of it lawful also menial beside him as a master of the arts and argue that it is has always been a normal since the to the era of this day from now on , everybody always keeping your temper freedom of expression . Key Word : New media, Beauty vlogger, phenomenona Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi pada era media baru tentu menimbulkan berbagai dampak dan fenomena. Media baru dalam kemajuan teknologi membantu dan memudahkan pengguna dalam berbagai tugas kerjanya, kini tidak hanya sekedar mendapatkan informasi namun sesama penggunanya pun dapat saling berbagi beragam informasi melalui media sosial yang ada saat ini. Media sosial tentu memiliki beragam manfaat bagi masyarakat khususnya kalangan mahasiswa Jakarta bisa positif ataupun negatif, tergantung bagaimana mereka menggunakannya. Kehadiran sosok beauty vlogger dengan beragam karakteristik menimbulkan berbagai komentar dan dianggap sebagai fenomena yang disebabkan oleh media baru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode fenomenologi, dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa Jakarta yang juga merupakan seorang beauty vlogger. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mewawancarai kelima narasumber penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa fenomena beauty vlogger di kalangan mahasiswa Jakarta tidak terlepas dari efek media baru. Kontroversi yang ditimbulkan dari seorang beauty vlogger pria dan beauty vlogger wanita yang berpenampilan seperti pria, bagi sebagian mahasiswa Jakarta hal ini melangggar norma dan budaya yang dianut oleh negara ini namun bagi sebagiannya juga menial nya sebagai seni dan berpendapat bahwa hal tersebut sudah merupakan hal yang wajar untuk era sekarang ini, semua orang bebas berekspresi.
