Abstract

All government buildings, offices, shopping centers, and apartments will never escape the need for clean water. Clean water is a vital need both as a necessity for drinking water, body hygiene, restaurant supply, and even for the needs of water chiller / central AC in high-rise buildings. If this clean water supply is not properly maintained, then building operations can be sure to be disrupted and may even stop. To maintain the smooth availability of clean water, a reliable tool / tool is needed that can help the technician / water operator's task to regulate the discharge and entry of water in the water storage tank. The tool "Build a Control System and Monitor the Height of the Water Tank Based on Arduino Uno R3 and GSM Shield SIM 900" is one solution that can help with this matter. With this tool, it will ensure the water condition in the tank is maintained. The GSM Shield Module as a medium for sending and receiving SMS is added so that the system can provide information about water level and warning of empty level limits at altitude (10% at 5 cm) and full water level limits at altitude (100% at 25 cm). working system The on-off transfer pump can work automatically based on the water level read by the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. Semua gedung pemerintahan, perkantoran, pusat perbelanjaan, maupun apartemen tidak akan pernah lepas dari kebutuhan air bersih. Air bersih merupakan kebutuhan vital baik sebagai keperluan air minum, kebersihan badan, supply restoran, dan bahkan untuk kebutuhan air chiller / AC sentral pada gedung-gedung bertingkat. Jika persediaan air bersih ini tidak terjaga dengan baik, maka operasional gedung dapat dipastikan akan terganggu bahkan mungkin terhenti. Untuk menjaga tetap lancarnya ketersediaan air bersih tersebut diperlukan suatu piranti / alat yang handal yang dapat membantu tugas teknisi / operator air untuk mengatur keluar dan masuknya air dalam tanki penampungan air. Alat “Rancang Bangun Sistem Kontrol Serta Monitor Tingkat Ketinggian Tanki Air Berbasis Arduino Uno R3 dan GSM Shield SIM 900” ini merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat membantu perihal tersebut. Dengan alat ini akan memastikan kondisi air dalam tanki tetap terjaga kapasitasnya. Module GSM Shield sebagai media pengirim dan penerima sms yang di tambahkan agar system dapat memberikan informasi mengenai ketinggian air serta peringatan batas level kosong pada ketinggian (10 % pada 5 cm) dan batas level air penuh pada ketinggian (100 % pada 25 cm). system kerja On-off pompa transfer dapat bekerja secara otomatis berdasarkan level air yang dibaca oleh sensor ultrasonic HC-SR04.
