Abstract

The Jakarta LRT Velodrome-Kelapa Gading development project is a government program to support the sustainability of the 2018 Asean Games that will be carried out in Indonesia, for the Velodrome area – Kelapa gading, 5.8 kilometers (km) of track for the mainline area and 10 kilometers (km) for the area Depot, this will later connect Kelapa Gading to the Velodrome bicycle racing arena in East Jakarta. In this project there are two welding methods for railroad tracks, that is Thermit Welding Alumino and Flash Butt Welding, both of which affect the timing of the work. The research method used in this study is the quantitative approach method, in this study we will discuss the differences in the use of rail welding methods. The results of data processing are a comparison of welding methods that are effective and efficient against the time of execution of work. The results of the comparative analysis of welding methods, that is, the welding method used is very influential on the implementation time, the results of welding, and labor required. The welding method using flash butt welding (fbw) is very effective because the welding productivity is more than that of alumino thermit welding (atw). Welding of alumino thermit welding averages 1.84 hours, so with 1 day is 8 hours of work, it gets 3.47 joints per day. The total required for the 1846 joint is 615.33 days. Flash butt welding (fbw) is an average of 0.97 hours, so with 1 day is 8 working hours obtained 6.59 joints per day, then what is needed for 1846 joints is 307.67 days. Keywords: Method, Welding, Rail, Railroad, Time, Implementation Proyek pembangunan LRT Jakarta Velodrome-Kelapa Gading merupakan program pemerintah untuk menunjang keberlangsungan Asean Games 2018 yang akan dilakukan di Indonesia, untuk area Velodrome - Kelapa gading, lintasan sepanjang 5,8 kilometer (km) untuk area mainline dan 10 kilometer (km) untuk area Depot, ini nantinya akan menghubungkan Kelapa Gading hingga arena balap sepeda Velodrome di Jakarta Timur. Pada proyek ini terdapat dua metode pengelasan untuk rel kereta, yaitu Alumino Thermit Welding dan Flash Butt Welding, kedua metode tersebut mempengaruhi terhadap waktu pelaksanaan pekerjaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pendekatan kuantitatif, dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas tentang perbedaan penggunaan metode pengelasan rel. Hasil dari pengolahan data adalah perbandingan metode pengelasan yang efektif dan efisien terhadap waktu pelaksaan pekerjaan. Hasil dari analisa perbandingan metode pengelasan yaitu, metode pengelasan yang digunakan sangat berpengaruh terhadap waktu pelaksanaan, hasil pengelasan, dan tenaga kerja yang diperlukan. Metode pengelasan dengen menggunakan flash butt welding (fbw) sangat efektif karena produktivitas pengelasan lebih banyak dibandingkan dengen alumino thermit welding (atw). Pengelasan alumino thermit welding rata-rata 1.84 jam, maka dengan 1 hari adalah 8 jam kerja maka didapat 3,47 joint per hari. Total yang dibutuhkan untuk 1846 joint adalah 615,33 hari. Pengelasan flash butt welding (fbw) rata-rata 0.97 jam, maka dengan 1 hari adalah 8 jam kerja didapat 6,59 joint per hari, maka yang dibutuhkan untuk 1846 joint adalah 307,67 hari.
