Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to find out the overview of academic stress in children who receive reading, writing, and counting lessons in kindergarten. This research uses qualitative perspective phenomenology method. The subjects in this reseacrh are 3 (three) kindergarten students, receiving reading, writing, and counting lessons in their school. The data in this research is obtained by using non-participant observation and semi-structured interview method. The analytical approach used is content analysis, which discusses deeply toward certain written information. Achieving credibility of the research is conducted by source triangulation techniques (informant and document/video). The result of this research is that the 3(three) subjects are showing some stress symptoms, such as anxiety, anger, depression, and decreased cognitive function. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran stres akademik pada anak yang mendapatkan calistung di taman kanak-kanak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif perspektif fenomenologi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang dengan kriteria siswa TK dan mendapatkan pelajaran calistung di sekolahnya. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode observasi non partisipan dan metode wawancara semi terstruktur. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis isi (content analysis) yang bersifat pembahasan mendalam terhadap isi suatu informasi tertulis. Pencapaian kredibilitas penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi sumber (informan dan dokumen/video). Hasil analisa data diketahui bahwa gambaran gambaran stres ketiga subjek muncul beberapa perilaku stres, yaitu cemas, marah, depresi, dan penurunan fungsi kognitif. Kata Kunci: Stres akademik, calistung, cemas, marah, depresi, penurunan fungsi kognitif.
