Abstract
This study to examine the effect of self-confidence in teens on selfie interests on Instagram. Subjects were 158 people using purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by using self-confidence and selfie interests. The reliability value for the confidence scale is 0.832 and the reliability value for the selfie interest scale is 0.962. The results of the analysis using a simple linear regression analysis analysis shows that there is a significant influence between selfconfidence and selfie interests with an effective contribution of 3.8% and a significance level of 0.015 with a constant of 0.550. The results show that there is a significance of self-confidence towards selfie interests in a positive direction, which means that the higher the level of self-confidence, the higher the interest in selfies. Keywords: Self Confidence, Selfie Interest, Adolescent Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepercayaan diri pada remaja terhadap minat Selfie di Instagram. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 158 orang dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan meggunakan alat ukur kepercayaan diri dan minat Selfie. Nilai reliabilitas untuk skala kepercayaan diri adalah 0,832 dan nilai reliabiitas untuk skala minat Selfie adalah 0,962. Hasil analisis menggunakan analisis analisa regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan minat Selfie dengan sumbangan efektif 3,8% dan tingkat signifikasi 0,015 dengan konstanta sebesar 0,550. Hasil menunjukkan adanya signifikasi kepercayaan diri terhadap minat Selfie ke arah positif yang berarti semakin tinggi tingkat kepercayaan diri maka semakin tinggi minat Selfie.
