Abstract
Airports in Indonesia basically have the following key role as the meeting point of the gate network and air transport routes of economic activities where industrial activities and trade openings of tertible areas, restrictions and disaster prone areas as well as infrastructure strengthen the sovereignty of the State. In the last few decades, the construction of airports has been the concern of States in the world. The airport serves as a gateway as well as a symbol of a city, region and the State makes the government increasingly competing to build airports with the latest design and technology. The design of the airport in hopes to be able to make the arrivals, especially tourists amazed amazed. Not infrequently the design of the airport became the benchmark of prosperity of an area. However, it should be noted that the design of an airport is not only iconic enough, but must also be able to fulfill its primary nonnegotiable function, as a transport regulator that provides safety, safety and convenience to both the users and the workers in it. Keywords: Airport, Facade, Transportation, iconic Bandara udara di Indonesia pada dasarnya memiliki sejumlah peran utaman berikut sebagai titik pertemuan jaringan dan rute angkutan udara pintu gerbang kegiatan perekonomian tempat kegiatan industri dan perdagangan pembuka daerah terisblasi, pembatasan dan daerah rawan bencana serta sebagai prasarana memperkukuh kedaulatan Negara. Dalam beberapa decade terakhir, pembangunan bandara udara telah menjadi perhatian Negara – Negara di dunia. Bandar udara berfungsi sebagai pintu gerbang sekaligus symbol suatu kota, daerah dan Negara membuat pemerintah kian berlomba – lomba membangun bandara udara dengan dengan desain dan teknologi paling mutahir. Desain bandara udara di harapkan mampu membuat para pendatang terutama wisatawan berdecak kagum. Tak jarang desain Bandar udara menjadi tolok ukur kemakmuran suatu daerah. Meski begitu, perlu menjadi perhatian bahwa desain sebuah Bandar udara tidak cukup hanya ikonis, tetapi juga harus mampu memenuhi fungsi utamanya yang tidak dapat ditawar, yaitu sebagai instrument pengatur transportasi yang memberikan keamanan, keselamatan juga kenyamanan baik pada para penggunan maupun pekerja di dalamnya. Hal itu di sebabkan Karena ketika kita berbicara mengenai Bandar udara. Kata Kunci: Bandara Udara, Fasad, Transportasi, ikonik
