Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether there was an effect of work life balance on employee performance. The approach taken in this study is a quantitative approach. The number of respondents in this study were 70 employees who were at PT. X head office. The sample selection technique used in this study is saturated samples. Work life balance is measured using a scale consisting of 17 items and for employee performance is measured using a scale consisting of 17 items. This study uses simple linear regression to determine the effect of work life balance on employee performance. The results show that there is a significant influence between work life balance and employee performance, where work life balance contributes 26.7% to employee performance. Keywords: Work life balance, Employee Performance Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh work life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70 karyawan yang berada di PT. X kantor pusat. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh. Work life balance diukur menggunakan skala yang terdiri dari 17 item dan untuk kinerja karyawan diukur menggunakan skala yang terdiri dari 17 item. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh work life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara work life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana work life balance kontribusi sebesar 26,7% terhadap kinerja karyawan.
