Abstract
In a production process, raw materials is one very important factor. So it takes serious consideration in the procurement. The object in conducting this research is a factory in the industry carton box or cardboard, that is PT. Cipta Multi Buana Perkasa. Existing problems in the company is the frequent occurrence of purchasing raw materials that are always far more than the required usage for one month. In this study, the first thing to do is to calculate the demand forecast for Food Cardboard products by consumers, then determine how much raw material needs must be prepared based on the number of requests for Food Cardboard products. Forecasting is calculated using software POM-QM & Ms. Excel, where the forecasting method used is the method Moving Average (MA), Weight Moving Average (WMA), dan Eksponential Smoothing (ES). Next is calculated the total cost of raw material inventory with techniques lot sizing Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Lot For Lot (LFL), Fixed Order Requirement (FPR), Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), dan Period Order Quantity (POQ). Based on the calculations that have been made (MA) with value error (MAD = 2040.48, MSE = 5400913, & MAPE = 0.1474), and technique lot sizing FOQ with the second smallest total inventory cost after the LFL which is equal to Rp 36.779.200. Keywords : Inventory, Raw Material, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Forecasting, Technique Lot Sizing. Dalam suatu proses produksi, bahan baku merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting. Sehingga diperlukan pertimbangan yang sungguh-sungguh dalam pengadaannya. Objek dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah pabrik di industri carton box atau kardus yaitu PT. Cipta Multi Buana Perkasa. Permasalahan yang ada diperusahaan adalah sering terjadinya pembelian bahan baku yang selalu jauh melebihi dari pemakaian yang dibutuhkan selama satu bulan. Dalam penelitian ini, hal pertama yang dilakukan adalah melakukan perhitungan peramalan permintaan produk Kardus Makanan oleh konsumen, lalu menentukan berapa banyak kebutuhan bahan baku yang harus disiapkan berdasarkan jumlah permintaan produk Kardus Makanan. Peramalan dihitung dengan menggunakan software POM-QM dan Ms. Excel, dimana metode peramalan yang digunakan adalah metode Moving Average (MA), Weight Moving Average (WMA), dan Eksponential Smoothing (ES). Selanjutnya dihitung total biaya persediaan bahan baku dengan teknik lot sizing Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Lot For Lot (LFL), Fixed Order Requirement (FPR), Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), dan Period Order Quantity (POQ). Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, (MA) dengan nilai error (MAD = 2040.48, MSE = 5400913, & MAPE = 0.1474), dan teknik lot sizing FOQ dengan total biaya persediaan terkecil kedua setelah LFL yaitu sebesar Rp 36.779.200.
