Abstract

Boiler or Steam Boiler is a tool used to produce steam that can later be used for electricity generation purposes. This boiler works by heating a liquid fluid in the form of pure water which later this fluid will turn into steam after reaching certain saturation point with certain pressure also. Material in the boiler can experience changes in pressure and properties, both from refractory cement and wall material in the form of carbon steel it is necessary to calculate theoretically to the material. The measurement is to maintain the safety of the operation and to know the consequences of a hot leak or Hot Spot. So there is known hot leakage in the boiler dead space with a value of more 4260C and with the operating load of boiler at 135 MegaWatt, it is known that this dead space is a space that is important for natural insulation of the boiler. Actual Heat Loss calculation results are used to calculate the amount of heat wasted in the boiler by using Calculation of Performent Test Formula Steam Plant 45. From the results of leak analysis and identification results obtained efficiency of Boiler Efficiency or above 84,73 %, so declared still safe and reliable to operate. However, due to the loss of Actual Heat Loss of dead space, it is related to the loss of Flow Gas per unit time (per day) of RP 16.873.419,02 Keywords: Refractory, carbon steel, Hot Spot, Actual Heat Loss, Gas Flow, Boiler Efficiency Boiler atau Ketel uap merupakan sebuah alat yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan uap yang nantinya dapat digunakan untuk keperluan pembangkitan listrik. Boiler ini bekerja dengan memanaskan suatu fluida cair berupa air murni yang nantinya fluida ini akan berubah menjadi uap setelah mencapai titik jenuh tertentu dengan tekanan tertentu pula. Material dalam boiler dapat mengalami perubahan tekanan dan sifat, baik dari semen refraktory dan material dindingnya yang berupa carbon steel maka perlu dilakukan perhitungan secara teori terhadap material. Pengukuran tersebut untuk menjaga keamanan operasi dan mengetahui akibat adanya kebocoran panas yang terjadi atau Hot Spot. Maka diketahui adanya kebocoran panas pada ruang mati boiler dengan nilai lebih 4260C dan dengan nilai beban operasi boiler pada 135 MegaWatt , diketahui bahwa ruang mati ini merupa suatu ruang yang cukup penting guna isolasi alami boiler. Hasil perhitungan Actual Heat Loss digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah panas yang terbuang dalam boiler dengan menggunakan Perhitungan Rumus Performent Test Steam Plant 45. Dari hasil analisis dan identifikasi kebocoran maka diperoleh hasil efisiensi pembangkit atau Boiler Efficiency diatas 84,73 %, sehingga dinyatakan masih aman dan handal untuk beroperasi. Namun adapun akibat kerugian dari Actual Heat Loss ruang mati maka berkaitan dengan kerugian Flow Gas tiap satuan waktu (per hari) sebesar RP 16.873.419,02 Kata Kunci: Refraktory, carbon steel, Hot Spot, Actual Heat Loss, Flow Gas, Boiler Efficiency
