Abstract
This study examines the influence of psychological conditions of classroom and psychological well – being on students learning quality in Mercu Buana University. Sequential mixed method used in which priority given on quantitave analysis followed with qualitative analysis by using focus group discussion as additional analysis. For sampling purpose, a proportional random sampling used and obtained 100 respondents as sample consist of 6 different faculties in Mercu Buana University. Data analyzed by using linear regression with SPSS v.20 software. The results show that psychological condition of classroom has positive significance influence on student learning quality with R2 is 0.356, and psychological well – being also has positive significance influence on student learning quality with R2 is 0.696. Simultaneous test result indicate that psychological conditions of classroom and psychological well – being have significance influence on student learning quality with R2 is 0,714. The contribution of this study for personal or education institution is tp provide data and suggestion that psychological conditions of classroom and psychological well – being on how the quality of learning process will be achieved. Keyword : learning quality, psychological conditions of classroom, psychological well – being Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengaruh kondisi psikologis ruang kelas dan psychological well – being terhadap kualitas pembelajaran mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekan sequential mixed method dimana bobot atau prioritas diberikan pada analisa kuantitatif kemudian diikuti analisa data kualitatif melalui focus group discussion sebagai bahan analisa tambahan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan proportional random sampling, dengan perolehan jumlah sampel 100 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 6 fakultas yang berbeda – beda di Universitas Mercu Buana. Analisis data menggunakan regresi liner dengan program SPSS v.20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi psikologis ruang kelas berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dengan nilai R2 sebesar 0,356. Selain itu, psychologycal well – being juga ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dengan nilai R2 sebesar 0,696. Hasil uji secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa kondisi psikologis ruang kelas dan psychological well – being secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dengan nilai R2 0,714. Kontribusi penelitian ini pada untuk personal maupun instansi penyelenggara pendidikan dengan memberikan data dan masukan bahwa kondisi psikologis ruang kelas dan psychological well – being berpengaruh pada bagaimana kualitas suatu proses pembelajaran akan dicapai.
