Abstract

Every investors expects return on investment or dividend, dividend paid can be Cash Dividend. In return for investment investors can assess the performance of the company through its ability to generate profits (Return On Investment and Earning Per Share), availability of funds (Cash Ratio), and the ability to pay both short and long term liabilities (Debt to Equity Ratio). This research aims to determine the effect of previously mentioned independent variable of the Cash Dividend on companies listed in the index KOMPAS 100 in the BEI period 2011-2015. Sampling method with purposive sampling method. The number of sample that meet the criteria in the study amounted to 12 company. The analytical method uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of EViews program. The result of research shows that simultaneously Return On Investment, Earning Per Share, Cash Ratio, and Debt to Equity Ratio have significant influence to Cash Dividend and partially Return On Investment, Earning Per Share, and Debt to Equity Ratio have significant influence to Cash Dividend while Cash Ratio has no significant effect on Cash Dividend. Keywords : Return On Investment, Earning Per Share, Cash Dividend, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Cash Dividend. Setiap Investor mengharapkan pengembalian atas investasi atau adanya dividen, dividen yang dibayarkan dapat berupa dividen tunai atau Cash Dividend. Dalam pengembalian investasi para investor dapat menilai kinerja perusahaan melalui kemampuannya menghasilkan laba (Return On Investment dan Earning Per Share), ketersediaan dana (Cash Ratio), dan kemampuan membayar kewajiban jangka pendek maupun panjang (Debt to Equity Ratio). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independen yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya terhadap Cash Dividend pada perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam indeks KOMPAS 100 di BEI periode 2011-2015. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria dalam penelitian berjumlah 12 perusahaan. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program EViews. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa secara simultan Return On Investment, Earning Per Share, Cash Ratio, dan Debt to Equity Ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Cash Dividend dan secara parsial variabel Return On Investment, Earning Per Share, dan Debt to Equity Ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Cash Dividend sedangkan Cash Ratio tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Cash Dividend. Kata kunci : Return On Investment, Earning Per Share, Cash Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, dan Cash Dividend.
