Abstract

The goals of every company to maximize the assets or value of the company. Maximizing value of the company is essential for a company because it means increasing the wealth of shareholders as well. The main objective of this research is to examines the effect of return on asset, debt equity ratio, price earning ratio on value of company in sub sector food and beverages listed in Indonesia stock exchange on 2012-2016, using a sample of Indonesia’s food and beverages firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2012 and 2016 with the purpose of sampling method. The results showed that return on asset has a significant positive effect on value of the firm, debt equity ratio has a significant positive effect on value of the firm, price earning ratio has a positive effect, but not significant to value of the firms. Keywords: value of the company, return on asset, debt equity ratio, price earning ratio, food and beverages company Tujuan dari setiap perusahaan untuk memaksimalkan aset atau nilai perusahaan. Memaksimalkan nilai perusahaan sangat penting bagi perusahaan karena itu berarti meningkatkan kekayaan pemegang saham juga. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh return on asset, debt equity ratio, price earning ratio terhadap nilai perusahaan di sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia pada 2012-2016, menggunakan sampel Perusahaan makanan dan minuman Indonesia terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) antara 2012 dan 2016 dengan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa return on asset memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, debt equity ratio memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, price earning ratio pendapatan memiliki efek positif, tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
