Abstract

The museum is an institution that treats and exhibits collection items to the public to be used as a means of entertainment and education. Given the digital transformation of some government services, it is necessary to change the presentation of museum artifact information so as to increase the interest of the community to visit and assist the educational process for students. By utilizing GPS technology on smartphone devices, by sending the coordinates of the location data, it can be searched for the artifact data that is around it by using haversine formula and sending the information to the visitor's smartphone in real time. Keywords: haversine formula, gps, real time, android Museum merupakan sebuah lembaga yang merawat dan memamerkan barang-barang koleksi kepada masyarakat untuk dijadikan sarana hiburan maupun edukasi. Mengingat transformasi digital pada beberapa layanan pemerintah, diperlukan perubahan penyajian informasi artefak museum sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk berkunjung dan membantu proses edukasi bagi pelajar. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi GPS pada perangkat smartphone, dengan mengirimkan data koordinat lokasinya maka dapat dicari data-data artefak yang berada disekitarnya dengan menggunakan haversine formula dan mengirimkan informasi tersebut ke smartphone pengunjung secara real time.
