Abstract
The automotive industry, especially car manufacturing, is a rapidly growing technology. One of the car components in Indonesia is safety glass. PT. AFG is the first and largest safety glass manufacturer. The main component of making laminated safety glass is Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) Film. From year to year the number of car production continues to increase so that the demand for PVB film also increases. To meet these material needs, a good inventory planning system is needed. Inventory planning can be calculated from forecasting based on previous usage history. Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) is a widely used method and is the basis for the development of other forecasting methods such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). From the results of the ARIMA model 1-1-0, 0-1-1 and 1-1-1 then the inventory planning calculation is done using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Inventory planning calculations using the EOQ method produce optimal inventory costs compared to PVB film inventory costs in 2017. Standard Clear PVB has a 52% reduction in inventory costs, 73% Standard Shaded PVB and 61% PVP HPP. It is expected that the development of further research is done by forecasting calculations using other methods and inventory planning can be developed taking into account safety stock, reorder points, backlog orders, replacement due to damage. Keywords: Inventory, ARIMA, EOQ, manufacture Industri otomotif khususnya pembuatan mobil merupakan teknologi yang berkembang pesat. Salah satu komponen mobil yang ada di Indonesia adalah kaca pengaman. PT. AFG merupakan produsen kaca pengaman pertama dan terbesar. Komponen utama pembuatan kaca pengaman berlapis adalah Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) Film. Dari tahun ke tahun jumlah produksi mobil terus meningkat sehingga kebutuhan PVB Film juga meningkat. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan material tersebut maka diperlukan sistem perencanaan persediaan yang baik. Perencanaan persediaan dapat dihitung dari peramalan yang dilakukan berdasarkan history pemakaian periode sebelumnya. Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) merupakan metode yang banyak digunakan dan merupakan dasar untuk pengembangan metode peramalan yang lain seperti Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). Dari hasil model ARIMA 1-1-0, 0-1-1 dan 1-1-1 kemudian dilakukan perhitungan perencanaan persediaan dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Perhitungan perencanaan persediaan dengan menggunakan metode EOQ menghasilkan jumlah biaya persediaan yang optimal jika dibandingkan dengan biaya persediaan PVB Film di tahun 2017. PVB Standard Clear mengalami penurunan biaya persediaan 52%, PVB Standard Shaded 73% dan PVB HPP 61%. Diharapkan untuk pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan peramalan dengan menggunakan metode yang lain dan perencanaan persediaan dapat dikembangkan dengan mempertimbangkan safety stock, reorder point, backlog order, penggantian karena kerusakan.
