Abstract

The problem in this study is how public relations media relations activities in building a positive reputation for Jakarta Gajah Mada's All Seaosons Hotel. The subject of this study was all internal and external public at the Jakarta Gajah Mada All Seaosons Hotel. With 5 informants consisting of 3 managers of the Jakarta Gajah Mada All Seaosons Hotel and 2 media reporters.This study was analyzed using qualitative analysis as well as the purpose of the research is to find out the Media Relations Public Relations Activities in Building Positive Reputation of Jakarta Gajah Mada All Seaosons Hotel.The results of this study indicate that media relations and public relations show good cooperation to build a positive reputation for Jakarta's Gajah Mada All Seaosons Hotel in cooperation not only in the professional sphere but also in the personal stage.One way to build relationships between media relations and public relations is to take a systematic and wise approach. That in addition to fostering functional relationships, public relations must strive to always develop interpersonal relationships with media relations. This can be done by carrying out an informal approach by holding regular personal contacts with media relations so that the cooperation remains well established as it is now. Keywords : public relations ,media relations, positive reputation of the company Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana aktivitas media relations public relations dalam membentuk reputasi positif Hotel All Seaosons Jakarta Gajah Mada . Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh public internal dan public eksternal di Hotel All Seaosons Jakarta Gajah Mada . Dengan informan sebanyak 5 orang yang terdiri dari 3 orang Manager Hotel All Seaosons Jakarta Gajah Mada dan 2 orang wartawan media.Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif adapun tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui Aktivitas Media Relations Public Relations Dalam Membemtuk Reputasi Positif Hotel All Seaosons Jakarta Gajah Mada.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media relations dan public relations menunjukkan kerja sama yang baik untuk membangun reputasi positif Hotel All Seaosons Jakarta Gajah Mada dalam kerja sama tersebut bukan hanya menyangkut pada lingkup profesional akan tetapi sampai kepada tahap personal. Salah satu cara membangun hubungan antara media relations dan public relations adalah melakukan pendekatan yang sistematis dan bijaksana. Bahwa selain membina hubungan secara fungsional, public relations harus berusaha untuk selalu mengembangkan hubungan interpersonal dengan media relations .Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan pendekatan informal dengan mengadakan kontak pribadi secara berkala dengan media relations agar kerja sama tetap terjalin dengan baik seperti yang terjadi sekarang ini.
