Abstract

Urban toys are a type of product made by toys designers. This type of toy is deliberately made as a form of resistance to industrial products that are generally uniform. The majority of urban toys designers are men and the average urban toys are made in plain black and white blanks, whereas blank urban toys are very close to the designer and can be a style of a toys designer. So that to create an urban toy that can bring up a designer identity, different materials are used, by including organic elements namely roses. In designing this urban toys, the concept of stylation is used which is a simplification of the shape so that it gets an iconic shape. Simplification of shape is also needed to support the concept of flexibility from a blank urban toys design, because the blank will be modified in more detail later. This urban toys design will use the word feminine as an idea of its shape. Motion systematics will also be added to strengthen the concept of flexibility. Keywords: Urban Toys, Feminine, Resin, Rose Urban toys adalah jenis produk yang dibuat oleh para desainer toys. Jenis mainan ini, memang sengaja dibuat sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap mainan hasil industri yang umumnya seragam. Mayoritas desainer urban toys adalah laki-laki dan rata-rata urban toys yang dibuat berupa blank berwarna polos hitam dan putih, padahal blank urban toys sangat lekat dengan desainernya dan dapat menjadi sebuah cirikhas seorang desainer toys. Sehingga untuk membuat sebuah urban toys yang dapat memunculkan sebuah identitas desainer, maka digunakanlah material yang berbeda dengan memasukkan unsur organik yaitu bunga mawar. dalam mendesain bentuk urban toys ini digunakan konsep stilasi yang merupakan sebuah penyederhanaan bentuk sehingga didapatkanlah bentuk yang iconic. Penyederhanaan bentuk juga dibutuhkan untuk mendukung konsep fleksibilitas dari sebuah desain blank urban toys, karena blank tersebut akan dimodifikasi dengan lebih detail nantinya. Desain urban toys ini akan menggunakan kata feminin sebagai ide bentuknya. Sistematika gerak juga akan ditambahkan untuk memperkuat konsep fleksibilitas.
