Abstract
product that is made is an electrical panel in which there is a brass terminal called current terminal. While producing current terminals do not use regular scheduling methods. The purpose of writing this final report is to obtain the value makespan production and the effectiveness and efficiency of production scheduling in PT. XYZ to minimize makespan and delay in completion of production. The method to be used is CDS method (Campbell Dudek And Smith) and Palmer Heuristic. In this final report processing, the author tries to use the flow shop scheduling method in scheduling the machine, where each job must pass through the machine / process in sequence. The method used is the method of CDS and Heuristic Palmer. The CDS method is a method invented by Campbell, Dudek and Smith which is the development of the Jhonson method, to obtain the working sequence of this CDS method resulting in k interaction k = m - 1 aims to produce the fastest production process time. Palmer's Heuristic Method places the order of work based on the slope index values sorted from the largest slope index to the smallest slope index. In the data processing the CDS method produces 2 interactions, namely interasi A (5 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1) and interaction B (1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 5). CDS method with interaction A produces a performance value compared to B interaction, while the Palmer Heuristic performance value is better than CDS method with B interaction but not as good as interation A. The makepan value of CDS method with interaction A is equal to Palmer Heuristic method is 60.16 days, whereas CDS method with B interaction productive makespan 64.76 days. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi peralatan listrik. Salah satu produk yang dibuat adalah panel listrik yang didalamnya terdapat terminal kuningan yang dinamakan current terminal. Selama memproduksi current terminal belum menggunakan metode penjadwalan yang teratur. Tujuan dari penulisan laporan tugas akhir ini adalah memperoleh nilai makespan produksi serta efektivitas dan efisiensi dari penjadwalan produksi di PT. XYZ untuk meminimumkan makespan dan keterlambatan dalam penyelesaian produksi. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah metode CDS (Campbell Dudek And Smith) dan Heuristik Palmer. Didalam pengolahan laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis mencoba menggunakan metode penjadwalan flow shop dalam menjadwalkan mesin, dimana setiap pekerjaan harus melewati mesin / prosesnya secara berurutan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode CDS dan Heuristik Palmer. Metode CDS adalah metode yang ditemukan oleh Campbell, Dudek and Smith yang merupakan pengembangan dari metode Jhonson, untuk mendapatkan urutan pekerjaan metode CDS ini menghasilkan k interasi k = m – 1 bertujuan untuk menghasilkan waktu proses produksi tercepat. Metode Heuristik Palmer menempatkan urutan pekerjaan berdasarkan nilai slope index yang diurutkan dari slope index terbesar sampai slope index terkecil. Dalam pengolahan data metode CDS menghasilkan 2 interasi, yaitu interasi A (5 – 6 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 ) dan interasi B (1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 6 – 5). Metode CDS dengan interasi A menghasilkan nilai performasi dibanding interasi B, sedangkan nilai performasi Heuristik Palmer lebih bagus dari pada metode CDS dengan interasi B namun tidak sebagus interasi A. Nilai makespan dari metode CDS dengan interasi A sama dengan metode Heuristik Palmer yaitu 60.16 hari, sedangkan metode CDS dengan interasi B mengasilkan makespan 64.76 hari.
