Abstract
Air transportation is becoming a mode of transportation that many Indonesians are interested in for the movement of people and goods over long distances. In order for air transport operations to run properly, an adequate airport is required as a means of air transportation. The role of the airport is very important as the community liaison and air transportation itself. Alor Regency in East Nusa Tenggara province as a new autonomous region requires an airport to open air transport routes to isolated areas. Given the importance of the airport as one of the gates of Alor Regency that can affect the progress of the region. Keywords: Airport, Alor Regency Transportasi udara menjadi moda transportasi yang banyak diminati oleh penduduk Indonesia untuk pergerakan manusia dan barang jarak jauh. Agar operasional transportasi udara dapat berjalan dengan baik, diperlukan sebuah bandar udara yang memadai sebagai sarana transportasi udara tersebut. Peran bandar udara sangat penting yaitu sebagai penghubung masyarakat dan transportasi udara itu sendiri. Kabupaten Alor di provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur sebagai daerah otonom baru memerlukan sebuah Bandar udara untuk membuka jalur transportasi udara menuju daerah yang masih terisolasi. Mengingat pentingnya Bandar udara sebagai salah satu pintu gerbang Kabupaten Alor yang dapat mempengaruhi kemajuan daerahnya. Kata Kunci: Bandar Udara, Kabupaten Alor
