Abstract

ABSTRACT The growth in development and transition of urban land functions, especially in DKI Jakarta, leads to reduced greening or green open spaces. One alternative that can be done to see the phenomenon is to utilize the building wall as reforestation land, known as vertical greenery system. Office of PT. Airmas Asri is one of the office buildings that have applied vertical greenery concept in some areas in office, the area chosen in this research is area 1 (terrace lobby) with livingwall (pot system) and area 2 (outdoor dining room) with green façade type ( vines system). This study was conducted to determine the effect of vertical greenery system at the office of PT. Airmas Asri on the thermal comfort aspect is done in two different areas. This study used two methods to obtain data that is observation and questionnaires, as well as the instrument used is with observation sheet, Sheet questionnaire and measuring instrument in the form of Dry-wet hygrometer, infrared thermometer and anemometer. The results showed that the effect of area 1 (living wall type) only in terms of air velocity, as well as on area 2 (green façade type) shows the influence of vertical greenery system from humidity and air temperature factors, but when viewed from the data measurement of the two areas obtained, no significant differences.. ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan pembangunan dan peralihan fungsi lahan diperkotaan, terutama di DKI Jakarta, menyebabkan berkurangnya lahan penghijauan atau ruang terbuka hijau. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan melihat fenomena tersebut adalah memanfaatkan dinding bangunan sebagai lahan penghijauan, yang dikenal dengan istilah vertical greenery system. Kantor PT. Airmas Asri merupakan salah satu gedung perkantoran yang telah mengaplikasikan konsep vertical greenery dibeberapa area yang dikantor, area yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini yaitu area 1 (Lobi Teras) dengan livingwall (sistem pot) dan area 2 (outdoor ruang makan) dengan tipe green façade (sistem tanaman rambat). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh vertical greenery system pada kantor PT. Airmas Asri pada aspek kenyamanan termal yang dilakukan pada dua area yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode yang dilakukan untuk memperoleh data yaitu observasi dan kuesioner, begitupun instrument yang digunakan yaitu dengan lembar observasi, Lembar kuesioner dan alat ukur berupa Dry-wet hygrometer, infrared thermometer dan anemometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang dihasilkan dari area 1 (tipe living wall) hanya dari segi kecepatan udara, begitupun pada area 2 (tipe green façade) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh vertical greenery system dari faktor kelembaban dan temperatur udara, akan tetapi jika dilihat dari data pengukuran dari kedua area yang didapatkan, tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Kata Kunci : vertical greenery system, kenyamanan termal, ruang terbuka hijau.
