Abstract

ABSTRACT In each building is recommended to provide comfort for its users, such as educational buildings ie schools. One of the comforts required is thermal comfort.To achieve good thermal comfort there are several factors such as air temperature, wind speed, and humidity that can affect thermal comfort. One cause of thermal comfort is the factor of ventilation, good ventilation provides continuous air changes in space. Regular air increases occupant comfort and prevents the accumulation of dirty air in space. Further advantages are energy savings and building operating costs.One of the school buildings that still apply semi-natural penghawaan is Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 02 Kota Bekasi The purpose of this research is to know the level of thermal comfort standard of the classroom. The method used in this study is quantitative. which includes the collection and processing of data used in the use of questionnaires, observations, and thermal comfort of respondents. After measuring directly in the field, itcan be concluded that thermal comfort in MAN2 City Bekasi class has not meet SNI or ASHRAE standards. The overall measurement result on the first day of 9.9 (%) of respondents chose to sit near a window or door, 6.1 (%) of respondents were in 'warm' areas, and 11 (%) respondents said the temperature was 'high', and the measurement result estimator on the first day can be known average temperature 30.5C, humidity 35.5%, PMV +2 (Heat) and PPD 63%. The overall measurement result on the second day was about 90% (%) of the respondents chose to sit by the window or door, 61 (%) of the respondents were in the 'warm' area, and 11.4 (%) of the respondents said the temperature was 'elevated'. And the result of estimator measurement on the second day can be known average temperature 29.1C, humidity 25.3%, PMV +1 (Little Heat) and PPD 36%. Keywords: Thermal Comfort, Classroom, Natural Ventilation, PMV, PPD ABSTRAK Pada setiap bangunan dianjurkan untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi para penggunanya, seperti bangunan pendidikan yaitu sekolah. Salah satu kenyamanan yang diperlukan adalah kenyamanan termal. Untuk mencapai kenyamanan termal yang baik terdapat beberapa faktor seperti suhu udara, kecepatan angin, serta kelembaban yang dapat mempengaruhi kenyamanan termal. Salah satu penyebab kenyamanan termal sendiri adalah faktor ventilasi, Ventilasi yang baik memberikan pergantian udara dalam ruang secara terus menerus. Udara yang berganti secara teratur tersebut meningkatkan kenyamanan penghuni dan mencegah akumulasi udara kotor dalam ruang. Keuntungan lebih lanjut adalah penghematan energi dan biaya operasional bangunan.Salah satu bangunan sekolah yang masih menerapkan penghawaan semi alami adalah Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 02 Kota Bekasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat standart kenyamanan termal ruang kelas tersebut.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. yang meliputi pengumpulan dan pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, serta kenyamanan termal responden.Setelah mengukur langsung dilapangan dapat disimpulkan ternyata kenyamanan termal di ruang kelas MAN 02 Kota Bekasi belum ada yang memenuhi standar SNI ataupun ASHRAE. Hasil keseluruhan pengukuran di hari pertama sekitar 9.9 (%) dari responden memilih duduk di dekat jendela atau pintu, 6.1 (%) dari responden berada didaerah ‘hangat’, dan 11 (%) dari responden mengatakan suhu ‘dinaikan’, dan hasil pengukuran estimator pada hari pertama dapat diketahui rata-rata suhu 30.5 C, kelembaban udara 35.5 %, PMV +2 (Panas) dan PPD 63 %.Hasil keseluruhan pengukuran di hari kedua sekitar 90 (%) dari responden memilih duduk di dekat jendela atau pintu, 61 (%) dari responden berada didaerah ‘hangat’, dan 11.4 (%) dari responden mengatakan suhu ‘dinaikan’. Dan hasil pengukuran estimator pada hari kedua dapat diketahui rata-rata suhu 29.1 C, kelembaban udara 25.3 %, PMV +1 (Sedikit Panas) dan PPD 36 %.
