Abstract

Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh job experience; yangterdiri dari job enlargement/enrichment, job roration dan promotion, transfer, down-ward move, terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Asuransi Umum Bumiputera Muda 1967. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simplerandom sampling, responden sebanyak 82 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalahanalisis kuantitatif dengan Regresi Berganda, metode pengumpulan data melaluikuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) variabel job enlargementberpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan terutama pada dimensiketrampilan karyawan dalam bekerja; (2) variabel job rotation berpengaruh secarasignifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan terutama pada dimensi kesesuaian penempatan kerja karyawan; (3) varabel transfer, promotion, down-ward moveberpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan terutama pada dimensipromotion.
