Abstract

Masyarakat ekonomi syariah memprediksi total pembiayaan syariah tumbuh 15,05% hingga 17,01% setiap tahunnya dengan asumsi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia mencapai 5-5,3%, inflansi 4,7%, dan rata-rata nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dollar AS Rp 13.900. Akan tetapi, pangsa pasar bank syariah terhadap bank konvensional secara keseluruhan masih rendah dan layanan jasa bank syariah masih berada dibawah bank konvensional. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat terhadap produk pembiayaan perbankan (bank syariah dan bank konvensional), penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen dengan sampel berjumlah 96 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis komparatif. Penulis menggunakan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan metode paired sample t-test, untuk melihat apakah terdapat perbedaan atau tidak antara persepsi masyarakat terhadap produk pembiayaan bank syariah dengan persepsi masyarakat terhadap produk pembiayaan bank konvensional oleh responden yang sama. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dengan taraf signifikasi 0,025 diperoleh hasil terdapat perbedaan persepsi masyarakat terhadap pemahaman produk pembiayaan perbankan antara bank syariah dengan bank konvensional serta kriteria pemilihan produk pembiayaannya.Islamic economic society predicts total Islamic financing grew 15.05% to 17.01% annually, assuming economic growth of Indonesia reaches 5 to 5.3%, inflation 4.7%, and the average value of the rupiah against the US dollar to Rp 13,900 , However, the market share of Islamic banks to conventional banks as a whole are still low and services of Islamic banks is below the conventional banks. To find out how the public perception of the bank financing product (Islamic banks and conventional banks), this study used a questionnaire as an instrument with a sample of 96 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is a comparative analysis. The author uses the method of hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test, to see is there a difference between the public perception of Islamic bank financing products to the public perception of the conventional bank financing products by the same respondents. Based on testing the hypothesis with a significance level of 0.025 obtained results there are differences in public perceptions of the bank financing product understanding between Islamic banks and conventional bank financing product selection criteria.
