Abstract
ASEAN didirikan untuk memajukan kepentingan bersama negara – negara ASEAN, termasuk percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi , kemajuan sosial dan budaya, dan perdamaian dan stabilitas regional. ASEAN juga bertujuan untuk menyatukan antara negara – negara ASEAN dan mendorong pemahaman lintas budaya yang lebih besar melalui berbagai program pendidikan dan sosial. Bangunan lama ASEAN di rancang dengan konsep terasering, sehingga konsep terasering juga diterapkan pada rencana pembangunan gedung baru ASEAN sehingga bangunan lama dan baru memiliki irama yang sama. Konsep terasering sesuai dengan wilayah anggota negara ASEAN yang rata-rata merupakan negara agraris. Pada perancangan pengembangan gedung ASEAN di terapkan pula aspek green building pada bangunan serta aristektur hemat energi dengan memanfaatkan iklim yang ada di Indonesia yaitu iklim tropis, sehingga terbentuk bangunan yang hemat energi dan sustainable.ASEAN was established to advance the common interests countries - ASEAN countries, including the acceleration of economic growth, social progress and cultural, and regional peace and stability. ASEAN also for to unite the country - ASEAN countries and to encourage cross - cultural understanding through a greater variety of educational and social programs. ASEAN old building was designed with the concept of terracing, so the concept of terracing is also applied to the new building ASEAN's development plan so that old and new buildings have rhythm same. The concept of terracing in accordance with the area member of the ASEAN countries, the average is an agricultural country. In designing the building development of ASEAN in implementing aspects of green building also on buildings and energy-efficient architecture by leveraging existing climate in Indonesia is a tropical climate, thus forming a building that is energy efficient and sustainable.
