Abstract
Peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang cepat dan cenderung mengelompok merupakan tekanan berat bagi DKI Jakarta dan sekitarnya, terutama dalam memenuhi tuntutan kebutuhan penduduk seperti perumahan, air bersih, listrik dan sarana dasar permukiman lainnya. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut, maka tumbuh usaha-usaha swasta yang bergelut di bidang penyediaan perumahan. Menyadari hal ini, beberapa perusahaan real estate menggalang keterpaduan dalam bentuk suatu konsorsium dan berupaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan mencetuskan gagasan pengembangan sebuah kota baru melalui pembangunan BSD. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perencanaan dan perancangan hunian di BSD City dengan penekanan desain Green Architecture yang sesuai dengan konsep BSD itu sendiri yaitu mengedepankan konsep eco-property. Tak hanya itu, perencanaan dan perancangan hunian ini juga merupakan salah satu upaya pengembangan dan pengelolaan kawasan yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pencitraan dan apresiasi pengembang terhadap Arsitektur Kontekstual sebagai warisan budaya bangsa.Increasing the number of people quickly and tend to cluster heavy pressure for Jakarta and surrounding areas, especially in meeting the demanding needs of the population such as housing, water, electricity and basic services other settlements. To meet these demands, the growth of private efforts that work in the field of housing. Recognizing this, some real estate companies raise the integration in the form of a consortium and seek to resolve the issue with the spark of the development of a new city through the construction of BSD. It is therefore necessary planning and design of housing in BSD City with emphasis on the design of Green Architecture in accordance with the concept of BSD itself that promote the concept of eco-property. Not only that, the planning and design of this shelter is also one of the development and management efforts are expected to increase the area of imaging and developer appreciation against Contextual architecture as a cultural heritage of the nation.
