Abstract
Risks may occur in the working process such as risks on working safety and health which cause some disturbance on either work forces or company’s future. This disturbance could be problems on safety, and health. Methods used in this research is quantitative, started with observation on production process, hazard identification, and informations on accidents/incidents happened as well as employees’ information and MSDS. Hazard indentifications need to be done in the working process in order to be able to anticipate the possibilities of safety disturbance which in the end will be used to protect the company, work forces, assets and production process from risk of losses due to accidents/incidents. The preventive actions on accidents on workplace refer to SMK3 Per.05/MEN/1996 on the element 3.3.3. Preventive Actions and element 4. Measurements and Evaluations as well as sub element 4.1 Inspections and Tests with the root cause as the activity objects . The research can be concluded that With preventive actions, , measurements-evaluations as well as inspections and tests on accident’s root cause olso the fulfillment of regulation on all activities could preventh accident. Risiko terdapat dalam proses kerja atau aktivitas perusahaan, salah satunya adalah risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang mengakibatkan gangguan pada tenaga kerja dan kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, diawali pengamatan pada proses produksi, mengidentifikasi Hazard/Sumber bahaya di area kerja, informasi data kecelakaan kerja serta informasi karyawan dan MSDS. Identifikasi sumber bahaya dilakukan pada kegiatan-kegiatan proses dalam upaya pencegahan terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya gangguan keselamatan guna melindungi perusahaan, pekerja, aset dan proses produksi dari resiko kerugian akibat kecelakaan kerja. Aktivitas pencegahan kecelakaan kerja mengacu pada SMK3 Per.05/MEN/1996 pada elemen 3.3.3.Tindakan pengendalian dan elemen 4. Pengukuran dan Evaluasi serta sub.elemen 4.1 Inspeksi dan Pengujian, dengan penyebab dasar kecelakaan kerja sebagai objektif aktivitas. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan tindakan pengendalian, pengukuran-evaluasi serta inspeksi dan pengujian terhadap penyebab dasar kecelakaan kerja serta dipenuhinya persyaratan peraturan dalam aktivitasnya dapat mencegah kecelakaan kerja.
