Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the employees pharmaceutical installation, particularly the pharmacy assistants in Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village can cope with the stress that they experienced at work without reducing their productivity. The population of this study is the pharmacy assistants of Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village that involving 30 people. The method used in this research is the quantitative research method and the data collection is conducted by distributing questionnaires. Employees at the pharmacy installation Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village can be stated that they are not yet succeed at coping with work stress experienced by means of three coping strategies, i.e. instrumental strategies, Passive Emotion management, and Emotion Proactive management. They only use several techniques to cope with the stress that they experienced, by trying quietly to complete existing work, doing their duties sincerely and having positive attitude towards the work. Key words: Stress, Coping with Stress, Pharmacy Installation Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah karyawan instalasi farmasi khususnya Asisten Apoteker di Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village dapat mengatasi stres kerja yang dialami tanpa mengurangi produktifitas kerja mereka. Populasi penelitian ini adalah asisten farmasi Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village sebanyak 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Karyawan di intalasi farmasi Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village dapat dikatakan belum cukup berhasil melakukan coping terhadap stres kerja yang dialaminya dengan memakai ketiga strategi coping, yaitu strategi instumental, Pengaturan Emosi Pasif, dan Pengaturan Emosi Proaktif. Mereka hanya menggunakan beberapa teknik untuk mengatasi stres yang dialaminya, yaitu dengan berusaha tenang untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang ada, ikhlas dalam menghadapi pekerjaannya dan bersikap positif terhadap pekerjaan yang dilakukan.
