Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the role and benefits of the use of Billing Information System at the Finance Bureau compared with the previously used application systems. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive study. In this study, data sources used primary data is data taken from interviews and questionnaires addressed to the 50 respondents consisted of 20 respondents who acts as practitioners Billing Information System and 30 respondents who acts as Leason Officer (LO) of the work at the Supreme Audit Board of The Republic of Indonesia’s Head Office. The results of this study indicate that the application of Billing Information System at the Finance Buraeu has been able to contribute both to the Finance Bureau in the implementation of payment mechanisms at the expense of state budget and can improve performance and service the Finance Bureau in the implementation of main tasks and functions in the Supreme Audit Board of The Republic of Indonesia.
