Abstract
Housing is a group of houses which is used for live, and equipeed with infrastructure and facilities. Several companies in the housing’s property are still have difficulties in promoting their product. Conversely people who are looking for a place to live also need information about housing in accordance with the desired criteria. This Final Project will perform an analysis and design to develop a system that is expected to help companies and communities. This system is called the Housing Catalog Information System. Company’s user can manage user’s data, company’s data, housing data, news, and generate report about list of housing owned by the company. Information about news, company, and the housing system will be displayed to visitors. Visitors and company also can do searching for company’s housing, and fill comments on the housing units. The approach taken to complete this Final Project is do gathering user requirements, conducting literature study, system’s analysis, design, implementation, and system’s testing. The method used in the analysis and design system is procedural method, and implemented using PHP with MySQL’s database. The type of modeling used is waterfall model. System can be used well and can help housing’s seekers and companies in the housing’s property. Systems can be developed further to help transaction of fee from using the application by adding features management fee and payment. It can also be developed by adding features to show map of housing’s location to help people to find out the location of housing. Keywords: system, information, catalog, company, housing, communities
