Abstract
Creating a product design that is inspired by the original work of the nation, a product design motif wallpaper with the existing form of batik in Indonesia. Wallpaper is one of the media decorate the interior walls of the building, especially, to create the desired atmosphere, as one media wallpaper wall coverings as alternative media besides paint, wallpaper has many shades vary greatly. color and design is very attractive, ranging from plain motif, and curved lines or other patterns like floral, polka dots, and even some wallpaper that can be glow in the dark or glow in the dark, most motif wallpaper in the market using modern motifs, especially products from abroad, the wallpaper you want made by the authors is to use motif wallpaper, original motifs from Indonesia, wallpaper with the development of forms of existing motif batik example, kawung, machetes, truntum, sido mukti, and others, which will be made the development of a more modern motif with new motifs form, by virtue of some batik motifs that have been chosen as a reference to make a more modern motif. Using colors that suit the needs of the theme to the interior space, (colors soft / soft) so convenient to be applied into the interior of a room, some made in the design motif using pastel colors of the dominant soft, but with its development later design will be made with a variety of colors that suit the character and needs of today's consumers, patterns and colors that are trends in the market so that more variant forms and color patterns, Hopefully with the creation of product design batik motif wallpaper will add flare world wallpaper especially for Indonesia, so that bias consumers choose domestic products.
