Abstract

Departemen IT sebagai suatu departemen yang berperan di dalam melayani kebutuhan akan teknologi dan informasi yang dibutuhkan suatu perusahaan, tentunya diharapkan dapat memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal sehingga dapat memuaskan kebutuhan user. Permasalahannya, tidak semua staff IT memiliki skill dan knowledge yang sama sehingga hasil yang dicapai juga akan berbeda. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang dapat mendokumentasikan, mengelola, dan mendistribusikan penyebaran knowledge yang dimiliki oleh tiap-tiap personil IT. Untuk membangun sistem ini digunakan metode SDLC dengan model waterfall sebagai metode software engineering. Adapun tahapan SDLC ini antara lain analisa kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, dan testing. Sedangkan metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) serta beberapa notasi dan diagram Unified Modeling Language (UML). Dalam penerapannya, Knowledge Managemen System ini dibangun menggunakan Microsoft Visual C# dengan database SQL Server Express 2012. Hasil analisis akhirnya terarah kepada perancangan Knowledge Management System yang dapat mengatasi masalah yang dialami oleh divisi IT PT MNC Finance. Kata kunci : Knowledge Management, Departemen IT, Microsoft Visual C# IT departement as a department that served the necessity of information and technology needed by a company, was expected to give their best services to satisfied the users. But the problem faced that, each IT staff has different skill and knowledge. It will be make the outcomes that were generating by them will be different. Therefore, we needs a system that can documented, managed, and distributed the knowledge that was have by each personal IT staff. To build the system, we uses SDLC method with waterfall model as the method of software engineering. The step of SDLC consists of needs analysis, system design, implementation and testing. Meanwhile, the design method used is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), some notations and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram. In its practice, the Knowledge Management System is built using Microsoft Visual C# with the database SQL Server Express 2012. The final analysis result appointed to Knowledge Management System design that can solved the problems that were facing by IT department of PT MNC Finance.
