Abstract

SMS yang bersifat penting dan rahasia sangat diharapkan dalam pengirimannya dapat dikirimkan dengan aman kepada penerima, akan tetapi kebanyakan telepon seluler sekarang belum dilengkapi fasilitas untuk mengamankan pengiriman pesan sms tersebut. Untuk mengamankan pengiriman pesan SMS ini penulis membuat suatu aplikasi yang dapat menjaga kerahasiaan pesan yang dikirimkan dengan teknologi enkripsi dan deskripsi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan pada aplikasi ini menggunakan metode analisa dan perancangan berorientasi objek yang meliputi mendapatkan kebutuhan, analisa kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi sistem, dan pengujian. Algortima AES digunakan untuk membuat SMS tersandikan pada Platform Android, untuk pembuatan tampilan dan penulisan kode sumber pada aplikasi digunakan software eclipse. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat mengamankan informasi yang dikirimkan dengan teknologi enkripsi dan dekripsi, dan aplikasi ini dapat menggunakan panjang kunci 128, 192, dan 256 bit. Kata Kunci: SMS, AES, Enkripsi, Dekripsi TAS SMS that are important and confidential is expected to be delivered safely delivery to the recipient, but most cell phones now have not been equipped with facilities to secure the delivery of SMS messages. To secure the delivery of SMS messages, the writer makes an application to maintain the confidentiality of messages sent with encryption technology and a description. The research methodology used in this application using object-oriented analysis and design which includes getting the needs, requirements analysis, system design, system implementation, and testing. AES algorithm is used to create encrypted SMS on Android Platform, for the manufacture of display and writing of the source code used in the software application eclipse. The results showed that the application can secure information transmitted with encryption and decryption technology, and applications can use key lengths of 128, 192, and 256 bits.
