Abstract
MERCU BUANA Diah Ayu Herawati, NIM 55208110020, PROCESS OF PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM E-GOVERNMENT (Case Study Providing public information through in website www.jakarta.go.id by the Department of Communications, Information and Public Relation Province Government of DKI Jakarta in Year 2011) keywords: Strategy, Provision of Public Information, Management Government web site Article 13 of the law is clear that to achieve prompt, precise, and simple, each public body shall appoint officers and managers of information and documentation to create and develop a system providing information services in a fast, easy, and reasonable in accordance with the technical guidance of public information service standards that apply nationally. There should be public information management efforts are more balanced. Not too forward purely technical aspects to the exclusion of quality information. Therefore, the quality of information that should be the spirit of the information conveyed to the public. Moreover, the form of public information service by the government/public institutions is associated with it. Jakarta Capital City Government already has a website, but how to design and develop the web as a medium for the provision of government public information? This study aimed to know, understand and explain the planning and provision of information to the public conducted by the Public Relations Jakarta Jakarta Provincial Govemment. BULAN Arch Theoretical framework that be be used used by b this research are Goverment Communications, Public Relations in Government Institutions, Planning and Development of Public Relation Process, Cyber PR, E-Government, Website Management and Public Information. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative by using methods of Case Study The results showed that the Department of Communication, Informatics and Public Relations of Jakarta Capital City Government has entered the stage of planning and preparation for the third time since 1995, which became the background remains the Freedom of Information Law 14 of 2008, only in 2011 was the fulfillment of thing will find information public, website development, public information categorizing, IT maintenance and update of public information.
