Abstract

PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk Plant D Radial do green tire production scheduling use conventional, There are frequent delays in fulfillment due date target on completion of curing production. Based on these problems the company wants significant changes, especially on the production scheduling in order to meet the target delay maturity that often occurs can be minimized. Prior to the program created, an algorithm of green tire production scheduling system will be designed using the earliest due date method. Method of Earliest Due Date (EDD) is a method of production scheduling that generates the maximum tardiness as minimum. This method sort tasks by due date are nearby. To find out how far the influence of using earliest due date for production scheduling , there are calculation of average tardiness time, performed by calculating the tardiness between the existing scheduling and the proposed scheduling which using the earliest due date. The calculation is on a single line of building machine (6 building machine). There was a decrease in average tardiness 25 percent between existing scheduling with proposed scheduling. So the production scheduling information system with EDD method can minimize the maximum delay and better than the way conventional Keywords: scheduling, conventional, earliest due date, maximum tardiness. PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk Plant D Radial selama ini melakukan penjadwalan produksi green tire secara konvensional, sehingga sering terjadi keterlambatan dalam memenuhi target jatuh tempo penyelesaian produksi curing. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perusahaan menginginkan perubahan yang signifikan terutama pada penjadwalan produksi agar keterlambatan dalam memenuhi target jatuh tempo yang sering terjadi dapat diminimalkan. Sebelum dibuatkan program maka dirancang algoritma system penjadwalan produksi green tire dengan menggunakan metode earliest due date. Metode earliest due date (edd) merupakan metode penjadwalan produksi yang menghasilkan maximum tardiness yang paling minimum. Metode ini mengurutkan pekerjaan-pekerjaan berdasarkan tanggal jatuh tempo (due date) yang terdekat. Untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pengaruh penggunaan metode earliest due date terhadap penjadwalan produksi maka dilakukan penghitungan waktu rata-rata tardiness terhadap penjadwalan yang dilakukan saat ini dan dibandingkan dengan waktu rata-rata tardiness untuk usulan penjadwalan yang menggunakan earliest due date. Perhitungan waktu rata- rata tardiness ini dilakukan pada satu line mesin building (6 mesin building). Dari perhitungan waktu rata-rata tardiness pada penjadwalan saat ini dengan usulan rancangan, didapatkan hasil penurunan waktu rata-rata tardiness sebesar 25 persen. Jadi sistem informasi penjadwalan produksi dengan metode EDD dapat meminimalkan keterlambatan maksimum dan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan cara konvensional.
