Abstract

Persaingantelahmenuntutsemuapelakubisnisuntukbekerjasecaraefektifdanefisien.Bukanhan yaitusajapersyaratannya, tetapiiugamenuntutterjadinyakelanggengan .itaukontinuitasproduk.Untukmencapaistandarkualitasdenganhargabersaing, makasetiapperusahaandituntutuntukmampumelakukanproduksidenganefisiensitinggi, kecepatanproduksi(production speed) yang terjagadanterusmenerusberusahauntukmengurangiprodukcacat. PT Duta Sugar International, salahsatuperusahaanGulaRafinasi di Serang-Banten, tampaknyasangatmemahamiadanyatuntutan-tuntutantersebutdalamoperasi, perusahaaninimenggunakanduarnesin, yakniTSK dan BMAdengankapasitas 42 ton/jam. Meskidemikian, daripenelitian yang dilakukanterdapatbeberapamasalah yang masihmenganggu.Pertama, penggunaanperalatanproduksi yang belummaksimal.Kedua, program pemeliharaanmesin yang belummemadaidanketiga, ketidaktercapaiansuatu target produksimasihberfluktuasi.Keadaaninimerupakanindikasiadanyapemborosan. StrategipenerapanTotal Productive Maintenance (TPM) memungkinkanperusahaanuntukdapatmenemukanpemborosan-pemborosan yang timbulselamaproses produksidanmemiliki program pemeliharaanmesin yang memadai, sehinggaproses produksiberjalanlebihlancar. Perusahaan initampaknyamasihperluuntukmemperhatikantingkatefisiensikarenaavailabilityuntukmesinT SK(91,11% - 97,13 %) danBMA(91,20 - 96,83%)Sedangkantingkatmutuproduk yang telahdicapaisaatiniuntukmesinTSK(85,89 - 95,01 %) danBMA(90,59 - 96,67 %). Pemeliharaankualitasdapatdilakukandenganmengupayakanterciptanyakomitmenmutudaripim pinanpuncakperusahaansampaike level paling rendah (workers).Dengandemikian, komitmenituakanmenjadibagianpentingbahkanhabit (kebiasaan) dariseluruh operator. Organisasiiniperlumengupayakan, penerapanstandarkerja 5 S (Seiri, Seitam, Seiso, SeiketsudanSitsuke), sehinggaterciptalingkungan yang kondusifuntukmendukung program Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Competition has demanded all businesses to work effectively and efficiently. Not only that demanding, but demanding the continuity .continuity products. To achieve quality standards at competitive prices, every company is required to carry out production with high efficiency, speed of production(production speed) are maintained andcontinuously strive to reduce product defects. PT Duta Sugar International, one of the Refined Sugar in Serang-Banten, seemed very understanding of the demands are in operation, the company is using two Machine, the TSK and the BMA with a capacity of 42 tons / hour. However, from the research, there are several issues that still disturbing. First, the use of production equipment is not maximized. Second, the program inadequate machine maintenance and third, not achieveid a production target is still fluctuating. This situation is an indication of a waste Strategy implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) enables companies to be able to find waste-waste that occurs during the manufacturing process and have sufficient engine maintenance program, so that the production process runs smoothly The company is apparently still need to pay attention to the level of efficiency due to engine availability TSK (91.11% - 97.13%) and BMA (91.20 to 96.83%), while the level of product quality that has been achieved at this time for the machine TSK( 85.89 to 95.01%) and BMA (90.59 to 96.67%). Quality maintenance can be done by seeking the creation of a commitment to the quality of the company's top management to the lowest level (workers). Thus, the commitment will be an important part even habit of all operators. This organization needs to pursue, the application of labor standards 5 S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Sitsuke), so as to create a conducive environment to support the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
