Abstract

Perusahaan saat ini dituntut untuk dapat beroperasi dengan efisien dan efektif sehingga dapat menjual produknya dengan harga kompetitip . Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh bagian produksi salah satunya adalah melaksanakan proses produksi seefisien dan seefektif mungkin tanpa pemborosan waktu akibat kerusakan mesin. Untuk menjaga kondisi mesin tersebut agar tidak mengalami kerusakan atau untuk mengurangi waktu kerusakannya agar proses produksi tidak terlalu lama berhenti, maka dibutuhkan sistem perawatan dan pemeliharaan mesin/peralatan yang baik dan tepat mengingat obyek penelitian yaitu mesin draw line yang memproduksi fiber telah berumur lebih dari 46 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penggunaan mesin/peralatan produksi berdasarkan nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), dan mendapatkan faktor-faktor yang memiliki kontribusi dalam menghambat produktifitas mesin dengan menggunakan diagram Pareto, serta menghasilkan usulan TPM yang dikombinasikan dengan proactive maintenance Hasil perhitungan OEE selama periode bulan Januari 2011 – Desember 2011 adalah sebesar 60%, sedangkan standart dari OEE adalah > 85%. Usulan sistem pemeliharaan dengan TPM dan peningkatan pemeliharaan dari reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance ke level proactive maintenance dilaksanakan agar dapat mengurangi dan menghapuskan akar permasalahannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, dengan melaksanakan TPM, dan terus melakukan evaluasi dan mengkaji ulang terhadap overall equipment effectiveness mesin untuk dapat meningkatkan produktivitas melalui TPM yang dikombinasikan dengan preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, dan maintenance dengan metode pemeliharaan yang proaktif sebagai bagian dari strategi pemeliharaan agar dapat meramal/memprediksi kegagalan yang akan timbul dimasa yang akan datang serta mengeliminasi permasalahannya. Kata kunci : Overall Equipment Effectiveness, autonomous maintenance, pareto diagram, proactive maintenance The Company is currently required to be capable of operating efficiently and effectively so that they can sell their products at a competitive price . One of the problems faced in the production department is to carry out the production process as efficiently and effectively as possible without downtime due to machine failure. To maintain the machine condition for avoiding or minimizing the damages & to avoid long stop of production process, the good & proper system in maintaining & taking care of machinery / equipment is required in view of the age of draw line engine producing fiber reaching more than 46 years. This research is aimed to determine effectiveness of production machinery / equipment use by calculating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and to find out presence of each factor which has the biggest contribution in inhibiting the machine productivity by using a Pareto diagram, and also yield a proposal TPM will combined with proactive maintenance. OEE calculation result for the period January 2011 - December 2011 indicates 60%, while the standard of OEE indicate more than 85%. The review of this proposal of conservancy System by TPM and increase of conservancy from reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance to level proactive maintenance executed so that can lessen and abolish the its root cause. Based on the result of the research carried out, the author suggests that implementation on TPM, and continuous evaluation and review of the overall equipment effectiveness should be performed to be able to increase productivity through TPM that combine with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and proactive maintenance as part of maintenance strategies in order to foresee / predict the failure of which will arise in the future.
