Abstract

Mobil RC mainan anak-anak dapat diubah kendalinya menggunakan papan Arduino dan perangkat telepon selular Android. Papan Arduino yang digunakan bertipe Arduino Mega ADK yang menggunakan ATmega2560 sebagai pengendali mikronya. Kendali mobil RC dirubah menggunakan dua perangkat telepon selular Android. Aplikasi Android dipasang pada kedua telepon selular, yang satu bertindak sebagai kendali atau client dan yang lainnya bertindak sebagai server yang mengolah pesan dari kendali untuk diteruskan ke papan Arduino Mega ADK. Arduino memberikan arus listrik pada IC L293D yang mengatur arah dan gerak motor DC. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi Android adalah bahasa Java. Sedangkan pemrograman Arduino Mega ADK menggunakan bahasa C. Kata Kunci: Android, Arduino, Java, microcontroller, Papan Arduino Mega ADK, mobil kendali Android Arduino, IC L293D. RC car is a toy for children, we can change the controller using Arduino boards and Android mobile devices. We use the Arduino Mega ADK as Arduino Board that uses the ATmega2560 as micro controller. RC Car controller converted using two Android mobile devices. Android application installed on those mobile phones, the first mobile phone acts as a controller or client and the other acts as a server that processes messages from the controller to be passed to the Arduino Mega ADK board. Arduino give current to IC L293D pins which set the direction and motion of DC motors. The programming language used to create Android applications are Java language.
