Abstract
This research titled "the corelation of workspace furniture regulation at performance civil servants with a case of study in Department of Transportation Bekasi". The reason why this title was made, because it was motivated by a negative stigma in society about the performance of civil servants. The case prompted the writer to research further to know how the implementation of furniture layout in the office of Department of Transportation Bekasi, how the effectiveness of performance civil servants in the state of Department of Transportation Bekasi, and to know how much the corelation between the furniture layout and the effectiveness of performance civil servants in thr state of Department of Transportation Bekasi. The writer uses thr descriptive quantitative method, with 49 people as sample. The writer uses test as instrument, such as observation and direct questionairres. Based on the research result, it can be seen that most of respondents answers about furniture layout in Department of Transportation Bekasi the score is good enough, or 20,83%. While the respondents answers about the effectiveness of performance civil servants is 35,67% in agree column, which indicates their performance was already good enough. It can be found that the T (count) is greater than T table. So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it means that there is a siginificantcorelation between the furniture layout and the effectiveness of performance employee of Department of Transportation Bekasi. Laporan ini berjudul “Hubungan Penataan Perabot Ruang Kerja terhadap Kinerja PNS dengan studi kasus pada Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bekasi”. Pengambilan judul tersebut dilator belakangi stigma negatif di masyarakat tentang kinerja PNS. Hal tersebut mendorong penulis untuk meneliti lebih lanjut Bagaimana pelaksanaan tata letak perabot di kantor Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bekasi, bagaimana efektivitas kinerja pegawai Negeri sipil di lingkungan Dinas Perhungan Kabupaten Bekasi, dan seberapa besar hubungan tata letak perabot kantor terhadap efektivitas di lingkungan Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bekasi. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Dengan jumlah keseluruhannya adalah 49 orang yang secara keseluruhan dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Ada pun instrumen yang digunakan adalah dengan test, yaitu observasi dan kuesioner langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa skor rata-rata jawaban responden mengenai tata perabot pada Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bekasi adalah cukup baik, dengan tingkat persentase sebesar 20.83%. Sedangkan skor rata-rata jawaban responden mengenai efektivitas kinerja di Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bekasi adalah 35.67% di kolom setuju, yang menandakan kinerja mereka pun sudah cukup baik. Yang kemudian dapat ditemukan bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antar tata perabot ruang dengan efektivitas kinerja pegawai di Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bekasi
