Abstract
JKT48 Theater in Jakarta is an entertainment performance facility that presents direct interaction between idols and fans through a modern theater concept. As a public entertainment space, the theater functions not only as a performance venue, but also as an experiential space capable of creating an interactive, communicative, and immersive atmosphere for visitors. However, the development of modern entertainment facilities requires an interior design approach that is able to provide comfort, strong visual identity, and an attractive spatial experience that reflects the character of JKT48 Theater. This interior design aims to create an interactive and immersive theater space through the application of experiential design combined with the concept of Japanese and Indonesian cultural acculturation. The modern pop style approach is applied through the use of warm ambient lighting, warm-toned modern materials, and visual elements that support an attractive and instagrammable atmosphere. Local cultural elements such as Betawi geometric motifs and modern Japanese nuances are also applied to strengthen the spatial identity and create a more communicative interior character. The design process includes Programming, Space Planning, and Design Decisions covering layout arrangement, circulation, lighting, acoustic systems, materials, and interior elements. The theoretical approaches used include experiential design, cultural acculturation theory, and modern pop theory. The final design is expected to create a comfortable, interactive, and culturally distinctive theater interior for visitors. JKT48 Theater di Jakarta merupakan fasilitas hiburan pertunjukan yang menghadirkan interaksi langsung antara idol dan penggemar melalui konsep theater modern. Sebagai ruang hiburan publik, theater tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat pertunjukan, tetapi juga sebagai ruang pengalaman yang mampu menciptakan suasana interaktif, komunikatif, dan immersive bagi pengunjung. Namun, perkembangan fasilitas hiburan modern menuntut adanya perancangan interior yang mampu menghadirkan kenyamanan, identitas visual yang kuat, serta pengalaman ruang yang atraktif sesuai dengan karakter hiburan JKT48 Theater. Perancangan interior ini bertujuan menciptakan ruang theater yang interaktif dan immersive melalui penerapan experiential design yang dipadukan dengan konsep akulturasi budaya Jepang dan Indonesia. Pendekatan gaya modern pop diterapkan melalui penggunaan pencahayaan warm ambient, material bernuansa hangat dan modern, serta elemen visual yang mendukung suasana atraktif dan instagramable. Unsur budaya lokal seperti motif geometris Betawi dan nuansa Jepang modern juga diterapkan untuk memperkuat identitas ruang dan menciptakan karakter interior yang lebih komunikatif. Pendekatan perancangan dilakukan melalui tahapan Programming, Space Planning, dan Keputusan Desain yang mencakup pengolahan layout, sirkulasi, pencahayaan, material, sistem akustik, dan elemen interior. Pendekatan teori yang digunakan meliputi experiential design sebagai pembentuk pengalaman ruang interaktif, teori akulturasi budaya sebagai dasar penggabungan unsur Jepang dan Indonesia, serta teori modern pop untuk mendukung suasana theater yang dinamis dan modern. Hasil perancangan diharapkan mampu menghadirkan interior theater yang nyaman, interaktif, dan memiliki identitas budaya yang kuat bagi pengunjung.
