Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the functionality and usability of the Website Management Inventory at PT. KHATULISTIWA SURYANUSA using the Black Box Testing and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. Functionality evaluation was carried out using the Black Box Testing approach to examine the conformity of system functions with user requirements without analyzing the internal code structure. Meanwhile, usability measurement was performed using the SUS method to assess the level of ease of use, efficiency, and user satisfaction in interacting with the system. The testing was conducted with internal company respondents who actively use the system. The results are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of both technical performance and user experience, serving as the basis for recommendations to improve the system’s effectiveness and user-friendliness. This research is expected to contribute to the development of high-quality webbased information systems that excel in both functionality and usability. Keywords: Testing, Usability, System Usability Scale, Black Box, Website Studi ini dilakukan untuk menilai fungsionalitas dan usability Website Management Inventory PT. KHATULISTIWA SURYANUSA dengan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Pengujian fungsionalitas menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk menguji kesesuaian fungsi sistem terhadap kebutuhan pengguna tanpa melihat struktur kode program. Sementara itu, pengujian usability menggunakan metode SUS untuk menilai kemudahan, efisiensi, dan kepuasan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 10 karyawan perusahaan yang akan menggunakan sistem tersebut. Hasil evaluasi diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran mendalam tentang pengalaman pengguna dan kinerja teknis. Mereka juga dapat digunakan sebagai basis untuk memberikan saran untuk memperbaiki sistem yang lebih efisien dan ramah pengguna. Diharapkan bahwa penelitian ini akan membantu dalam mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web yang paling baik dari segi fungsional maupun kegunaan.
