Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah membuka mata masyarakat global dan membuat dunia menjadi semakin dekat karena dalam waktu yang singkat dan jarak yang begitu luas, informasi bisa disampaikan maupun diterima secara akurat dan aktual. Sistem informasi akademik terutama modul Manajemen Pengguna dirancang untuk mengolah dan menyajikan data proses kegiatan pengguna yang pada saat ini masih mengunakan cara manual. Proses kegiatan Manajemen Pengguna meliputi pendaftaran modul, Pengaturan hak akses pengguna, dan pembuatan grup pengguna SIA. Dalam perancangan perangkat lunak ini , penulis menggunakan metode waterfall dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek yang terbagi menjadi tiga model jenis diagram yaitu adalah: Activity Diagram untuk menjelaskan alur proses bisnis, Use Case Diagram untuk menjelaskan fungsi atau layanan yang disediakan oleh sistem, dan Sequance Diagram untuk menjelaskan interaksi pengguna dengan sistem. Dalam implementasi penulis menggunakan bahasa pemerograman php dan framework codeigniter (CI). Untuk sistem manajemen basis data menggunakan MySQL. Sistem Informasi Akademik modul Manajemen Pengguna ini dapat memudahkan Administrator untuk memngatur dan memantau pengguna-pengguna yang ada di dalam SIA(Sistem Informasi Akademik. Kata Kunci : Sistem, Informasi, Akademis. The development of technology has opened the eyes of the global community and make the world become closer. Academic Information System Mercu Buana University or usually called SIA UMB is a software that could process and present web based academic data. Academic information system especially User Management module is designed to process and present data on the activities of users who are still using the manual method. User Process Management activities include registration module ,Setting user permissions , user and group creation. In software design, author used waterfall method with object-oriented approach which is divided into three model diagrams as follows: Activity Diagram which is describe the flow of business process, Use Case Diagram which is explain functions and services provided by system, and Sequence Diagram to explain user interactions with the system. In implementation, author used PHP Programming Language and Framework Codeigniter (CI). For database management system used by My SQL. Keyword : Academic, Information, System
