Abstract
Inheritance is the transfer of rights and obligations of the deceased person's wealth to their heirs are still alive. However, only some people who understand the science of the division of inheritance under Islamic law. Therefore it is in the design a application that can perform computation and the distribution of the estate in a computerized. Application of “the division of the estate based on islamic law” is built on the Android platform and developed with PhoneGap Framework. Android was chosen because it is a mobile operating system with the largest share of the smartphone market so hopefully this app will be used by any user ranging from the entry level up to even more premium segment. Waterfall methodology used in its design. With the implementation of the calculation of the distribution of the heritage into an android app the user is expected to perform calculations quickly and accurately than do the calculations manually. Users also don’t have to master the science of inheritance to be able to use this application, which takes only a basic knowledge of the operation of the smartphone. Warisan adalah perpindahan berbagai hak dan kewajiban tentang kekayaan seseorang yang meninggal dunia kepada ahli warisnya yang masih hidup. Namun, hanya sebagian orang saja yang memahami ilmu tentang pembagian harta waris berdasarkan hukum Islam. Oleh karena itu maka dirancanglah sebuah aplikasi yang dapat melakukan perhitungan serta pembagian harta waris secara komputerisasi. Aplikasi Pembagian Harta Waris Berdasarkan Hukum Islam ini dibangun pada platform Android dengan menggunakan PhoneGap Framework. Android dipilih karena merupakan sistem operasi mobile yang menguasai pangsa pasar telepon pintar (smartphone) sehingga diharapkan aplikasi ini nantinya dapat digunakan oleh setiap user mulai dari kalangan entry level bahkan sampai ke segmen yang lebih premium. Dalam perancangannya digunakan metodologi waterfall. Dengan diimplementasikannya perhitungan pembagian harta waris menjadi sebuah aplikasi android diharapkan user dapat melakukan perhitungan secara cepat dan akurat dibandingkan dengan melakukan perhitungan secara manual. User pun tidak harus menguasai ilmu waris untuk bisa menggunakan aplikasi ini, yang dibutuhkan hanyalah pengetahuan dasar dari pengoperasian smartphone saja. Kata Kunci : Ilmu waris, perhitungan, Model Proses Waterfall, Android, dan PhoneGap Framework.
