Abstract

Project X is a road and bridge construction project connecting two rest areas, carried out through three parallel work contracts. Each contract is monitored using its own S-curve and schedule, making cross-contract work dependencies difficult to detect and potentially causing hidden delays. This study aims to develop an integrated scheduling baseline for the three contracts, identify critical path activities using the Critical Path Method (CPM), and evaluate the project's time performance by comparing the existing schedule with the recommended (integrated) schedule. The research applies a descriptive-analytical approach using a mixed-method design, combining quantitative analysis based on CPM and the S-curve with qualitative validation through interviews with project management. The results show that the integrated schedule produces a total project duration of 516 calendar days, with a continuous critical path identified throughout the entire bridge structure work sequence (Total Float = 0). Compared to the existing schedule, whose longest contract duration is 466 days, the integrated schedule reveals a hidden delay of 50 days caused by workspace conflicts among contractors. The integrated scheduling results have been validated by the project's Project Manager, Site Engineer Manager, and Chief Engineer, and were agreed upon as a more accurate and realistic time-control model compared to the partial schedule. This study recommends adopting the integrated scheduling model as the official time-control document, with priority resource allocation given to the bridge structure works. Proyek X merupakan proyek pembangunan jalan dan jembatan penghubung pada kawasan rest area yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap kontrak secara paralel. Setiap kontrak dikendalikan dengan kurva S dan jadwal tersendiri, sehingga keterkaitan pekerjaan lintas kontrak sulit terdeteksi dan berpotensi menimbulkan keterlambatan yang tersembunyi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun baseline penjadwalan terintegrasi dari ketiga kontrak tersebut, mengidentifikasi pekerjaan pada lintasan kritis menggunakan metode Critical Path Method (CPM), serta mengevaluasi kinerja waktu proyek melalui perbandingan antara penjadwalan eksisting dan penjadwalan hasil rekomendasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dengan metode campuran (mixed method), yaitu analisis kuantitatif berbasis CPM dan Kurva S, serta validasi kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan pihak manajemen proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjadwalan terintegrasi menghasilkan durasi total proyek sebesar 516 hari kalender, dengan lintasan kritis yang teridentifikasi secara kontinu pada seluruh rangkaian pekerjaan struktur jembatan (Total Float = 0). Perbandingan dengan penjadwalan eksisting, yang memiliki durasi kontrak terpanjang 466 hari, menunjukkan adanya keterlambatan tersembunyi (hidden delay) sebesar 50 hari yang diakibatkan oleh konflik ruang kerja antar kontraktor. Hasil penjadwalan terintegrasi ini telah divalidasi oleh Project Manager, Site Engineer Manager, dan Chief Engineer proyek, dan disepakati sebagai model pengendalian waktu yang lebih akurat dan realistis dibandingkan penjadwalan parsial. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adopsi model penjadwalan terintegrasi sebagai dokumen kontrol waktu, dengan prioritas alokasi sumber daya pada pekerjaan jembatan.
