Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors contributing to occupational accident risks, determine the dominant risk factors, and analyze risk control measures for pierhead work on the Ancol Timur–Pluit Toll Road Construction Project. The study employed a quantitative method through field observations, interviews, questionnaires, and literature reviews. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) was used to identify potential hazards, while Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) was applied to assess risk levels based on likelihood and severity. The results showed that occupational accident risks were influenced by human factors, equipment, materials, work methods, and working environment conditions. Eight potential hazards were classified as high-risk, including being struck by iron fragments, being caught by materials, hand injuries from tie wire, being struck by a hammer, being scratched by materials, tripping during concrete pouring, skin irritation from concrete spills, and dust exposure. Risk controls included engineering and administrative controls, personal protective equipment (PPE), toolbox meetings, work supervision, and compliance with standard operating procedures. Expert validation indicated that the proposed risk controls were acceptable. Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety, JSA, HIRARC, Accident Risk, Pierhead. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab risiko kecelakaan kerja, menentukan faktor dominan, serta menganalisis upaya pengendalian risiko pada pekerjaan pierhead Proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Ancol Timur–Pluit. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi literatur. Metode Job Safety Analysis (JSA) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya pada setiap tahapan pekerjaan, sedangkan Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) digunakan untuk menilai tingkat risiko berdasarkan likelihood dan severity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko kecelakaan kerja dipengaruhi oleh faktor manusia, peralatan, material, metode kerja, dan lingkungan kerja. Terdapat delapan potensi bahaya yang termasuk kategori risiko tinggi (high), meliputi risiko terkena potongan besi, terjepit material, tertusuk kawat bendrat, terpukul palu, tergores material, tersandung saat pengecoran, iritasi akibat tumpahan beton, dan paparan debu. Pengendalian risiko dilakukan melalui pengendalian teknik, administratif, penggunaan APD, toolbox meeting, pengawasan, dan kepatuhan terhadap SOP.
