Abstract
The honey extraction process for small scale beekeepers UMKM is still mostly done manually,which requires a lot of physical effort, long working hours, and produces unstable spinning. This situation affects the high workload of beekeepers and the lessthan optimal honey extraction tool that can improve the workload, and support the productivity of small scale beekeepers. The data analysis method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with a design Thinking approach, consisting of the stage empathize, define, ideate, and prototype. The design process started with identifying user needs through field observations and interviews, followed bt analysis, developing several concept alternatives, design evaluation, and finally deciding on the final design. The product concept focuses on an electric motor based centrifugal extraction system, using hygienic and corrosion resistant food grade stainless steel materials, a sturdy structure, and a mobility system ao the tool can be easily moved. The design resulted in a honey extraction tool wit a honey extraction tool with a four frame capacity, a DC electric Motor, battery power, a honey rap, and a stainless steel frame, capable of producing a more stable rotation compared to a manual system. This design has the potential to improve the extraction prosess, reduce user fatigue, maintain honey quality, and increase production capacity for farmers sustainably. Keywords: Hygienic, Sturdy, Mobile, Electric Proses ekstraksi madu pada peternak lebah skala UMKM masih banyak dilakukan secara manual sehingga membutuhkan tenaga fisik yang besar, waktu kerja yang lama, dan menghasilkan putaran yang tidak setabil. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan beban kerja peternak meningkatkan dan hasil ekstraksi madu berbasis penggerak listrik untuk mengurangi beban kerja peternak serta meningkatkan proses ekstraksi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis desakriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan Desaign Thinking yang terdiri atasan tahapan empathize, define, ideate dan prototype. Proses perancangan diawali dengan identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara, dilanjutkan analisis permasalahan, pengembangan beberapa alternatif konsep, evaluasi desain, hingga penentuan desain akhir. Konsep produk mengutamakan sistem ekstraksi sentrifugal berbasis motor listrik DC, penggunaan material stainless steel food grade yang higienis dan tahan korasi, struktur yang kokoh, serta sistem mobilitas agar alat mudah dipindahkan. Hasil perancangan menghasilkan alat ekstraksi madu berkapasitas empat frame dengan motor listrik DC, sumber daya baterai, keran madu, rangka stainless steel yang mampu , menghasilkan putaran yang stabil dibandingkan sistem manual. Rancangan ini berpotensi meningkatkan kapasitas proses ekstraksi, mengurangi kelelahan pengguna, menjaga kualitas madu, serta meningkatkan kapasitas produksi peternak.
