Abstract
The rapid digital transformation in the financial sector has driven the growth of the sharing economy, particularly through Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending Platforms that provide alternative financial access. A quantitative approach was used through the PLSSEM method. The population of this study were Fintech P2P lending lenders in Java with a research sample of 233 respondents. The results showed that Community Participation and Financial Empowerment increased Social Connectedness, which then had a positive effect on Self-Transformation Expectations and Relational Transformation Expectations. Self-Transformation Expectations mediated the relationship between Social Connectedness and Well being. Relational Transformation Expectations had a significant effect on Well being. The novelty of this research is the development of a new socio-psychological model that explains the Well being of Fintech P2P Lending lenders through the mechanisms of Self-Transformation Expectations and Relational Transformation Expectations, shifting the research focus from risk mitigation to participant Well being.
