Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency, activity and profitability on financial distress. The research design is causality research. The population in this research is the textile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2024 totling 15 compaies and totaling 5 companies according to the specified characteristics. Five companies were selected as samples based on purposive sampling criteria, which were determined by the researcher.. The data analysis method applied in this study is panel data regression analysis. The findings indicate that liquidity, solvency, and activity have no significant effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, profitability proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) has a negative effect on financial distress, meaning that a higher level of company profitability reduces the likelihood of experiencing financial distress. The findings of this research could help both corporate management and investors assess a company's financial health, which is essential information for making sound investment choices. Keywords: liquidity, solvency, activity, profitability, financial distress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, solvabilitas, aktivitas dan profitabilitas terhadap Financial Distress. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian kausalitas. Populasi meliputi perusahaan sub-sektor tekstil tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015-2024 yang berjumlah 15 perusahaan dan Lima perusahaan memenuhi kriteria yang diperlukan. Lima perusahaan dipilih sebagai sampel bedasarkn krteri purposive sampling, yang ditetapkan peneliti.Pada studi ini metode analisis data memakai analisis regresi data panel. Temuan studi mengidentifikasikan bahwa Likuiditas, Solvabilitas dan aktivitas tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress. Sementara itu variabel profitabilitas yang diproksikan dengan Return on Assets (ROA) berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress, yang berarti semakin tinggi tingkat profitabilitas perusahaan maka semakin rendah kemungkinan perusahaan mengalami kondisi financial distress. Harapan penelitian ini bisa bantu investor untuk manajemen perushaan guna ambil keputusan yang tepat. Kata Kunci: likuiditas, solvabilitas, aktivitas, profitabilitas, financial distress
