Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the influence of the glass ceiling, leader member exchange, organizational culture on employee performance mediated by career development, the population of this research is 1,779 people and the respondents are 400 ASN employees who have served in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the sample used is proportionate stratified random sampling. The results of this research prove that the glass ceiling is not able to influence employee performance and career development so that career development is not able to mediate the glass ceiling on employee performance, leader member exchange is not able to influence employee performance directly so that career development is able to fully mediate leader member exchange on employee performance , organizational culture is able to encourage employee performance. Organizational culture can also improve career development so that career development partially influences organizational culture, and career development fully influences employee performance in the DKI Jakarta provincial government. Novelty in this research is measuring ASN performance using government regulation number 11 of 2017. The contribution of this research is expected to provide input for human resource management, especially the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government so that it can provide an overview for ASN who feel the impact caused by their work environment. Keywords: glass ceiling, leader member exchange, organizational culture, employee performance and career development Tujuan dari penelitian ini menguji tentang pengaruh glass ceiling, leader member exchange, budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di mediasi oleh pengembangan karir, populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 1,779 orang dan responden sebanyak 400 pegawai ASN yang telah menjabat di Provinsi DKI Jakarta, sampel yang digunakan adalah proportionate stratified rendom sampling. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa glass ceiling tidak mampu mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan dan pengembangan karir sehingga pengembangan karirtidak mampu memediasi glass ceiling terhadap kinerja karyawan, leader member exchange tidak mampu mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara langsung sehingga pengembangan karir mampu memediasi secara penuh leader member exchange terhadap kinerja karyawan, budaya organisasi mampu mendorong kinerja karyawan budaya organisasi juga dapat meningkatkan pengembangan karir sehingga pengembangan karir secara parsial mempengaruhi budaya organisasi, dan pengembangan karir secara penuh mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di provinsi DKI Jakarta. Novelty dalam penelitian ini pengukuran kinerja ASN menggunakan peraturan pemerintah nomor 11 tahun 2017 kontribusi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia terutamanya pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta agar dapat memberikan tinjauan bagi ASN yang yang merasakan dampak di akibatkan oleh lingkungan pekerjaannya.
